Can’t imagine how these photos interfered with the last post…….
Here are a few shots of the northern lights from the houseboat.

This weekend is supposed to be quite active for the aurora….. maybe we will see more from down south!

Have spent the last hour reviewing your comments and great photos. What a marvellous trip. A great way to see the North American outdoors. The Hudson Bay company was a Scottish company. Mainly manned by Orcadians. It is also on the same latitude as the Highlands and the Shetland and Orkney islands. Many of the trappers intermarried with local indigenous ladies. If you are interested read some of James Hunters books about the several emigration’s of Scottish to north America. Also a man called Tom Devine has written a history of Scottish diaspora to North America, I just read it last month.
Keep up the great work when on your travels. I and I’m sure everyone else enjoys reading it.
Hope you are both well.

Robbie and Henry….WHAT AN ADVENTURE!!!
It saddens me that when the “Wanderlust train” was passing through the Marshall gene-pool, my spouse was in Bobby’s womb thinking they said “brains” and he replied, “NO, thanks, I’ve got plenty.” I am definitely enjoying your trip through the photos and tales you tell. Stay safe!

Laura. Mike got a few brains but he didn’t exactly empty the cache!
Thanks for the comments. Hope Florida is still in good shape for your trip in a couple weeks!
